Yale parent company ASSA ABLOY acquires VHS in Turkey

The leading Turkish window and door hardware manufacturer has been welcomed into the Yale family

ASSA ABLOY, the parent company of Yale, the leading access control provider, has recently acquired VHS Plastik Metal (VHS), a leading window and door hardware systems manufacturer based in Turkey.

Established in 1997, VHS got its start by manufacturing cylinders for locks, locking accessories and hardware for PVC windows and doors, as well as simple ventilation solutions. VHS has since expanded its range of high-performance products continuously, in line with the developments and growth of the window and door market. Today, VHS boasts some 440 employees in their main office and the brand's factory, located in Silivri, close to Istanbul.

VHS will play an essential part in developing door and window security products with Yale in Turkey, reinforcing its long commitment to the local market. As a key player in the home security sector, Yale appreciates and recognizes the skills, knowledge and experience that VHS will bring to its global family.

Now a part of Yale, VHS will be soft endorsed by the Yale global brand. Meaning VHS will keep its own visual identity and branding, and “part of Yale” messaging will be placed on all content.
