Linus^® wins an award for its sleek, intelligent design at the European Product Design Awards

The Linus^® Smart Lock was recognized in the Interior Products Category for aiming to improve daily lives with its sleek, intelligent design and functionalities.

Attracting entries from all over the globe, the European Product Design Awards are one of the most well-known design awards worldwide and aim to reward the strategic thinking and imagination put into making a great product by design teams and individual designers alike.

As a smart lock which aims to make consumers lives easier with its sleek design and state of the art technology, Linus^® was compared against hundreds of international entries by the EPDA professional jury. The product was evaluated based on various judging criteria, including innovation, aesthetics, functionality and emotional quotient.

Scoring points in all of these categories, Linus^® reimagines home safety by allowing its users to remotely lock and unlock the door, check door status, grant virtual keys and see who comes and when through the user-friendly Yale Access app – all while fitting the stylish and modern homes of today.

Manufactured using premium materials, its stunning brushed metal finish is available in silver or matte black. To achieve this modern, minimalistic look, famous Swiss product designer Yves Behar used soft surface transitions, rounded edges and a textured finish.
