You can see what’s happening at home from anywhere in the world in the app, with the option to record videos or capture images to review and save at any time. And for even smarter monitoring, with customisable detection and privacy zone & scheduling* you can define specific areas you want your camera to cover and use motion scheduling to exclude notification triggers from regular occurrences such as your car pulling into your driveway in the evening after work. To reduce unwanted triggers, such as those caused by a lamp being turned on or off, human detection is also available throughout the entire range at no additional charge. Other AI features, as well as Cloud Recording options, are also available through a subscription plan.

The Smart Cameras and Smart Video Doorbell are fully controllable using the Yale Home app. The Yale Home app enables you to connect and control all your Yale smart security devices together, allowing you to manage your Yale Smart Lock, Yale Smart Indoor, Outdoor Cameras and Smart Video Doorbell all from a single app. So for example, if a “call” was triggered with the Yale Smart Video Doorbell, you could see who was at the door, and if it was a trusted friend or individual, open the door to them using your Yale Smart Lock, for a more secured and connected smart home experience.
