How remote access works
- Bluetooth Connection: The lock connects to the Yale Connect Hub Plus 2 using Bluetooth.
- WiFi Communication: The Yale Connect Hub Plus 2 then communicates with the home's router via WiFi.
- Cloud Integration: The router connects to the Yale Home Cloud.
- Smartphone Access: Users can access and control the lock through their smartphone using 4G technology.
This setup ensures seamless and secure communication between the lock, the Yale Connect Hub Plus 2, the router, and the user's smartphone.

Customisable to match your home
The Unity Slim is available with various handle types, ensuring visual consistency across window fasteners, sliding door handles, and internal and external hinge door handles. The colour customisation feature enhances its appeal to homeowners by allowing them to match the handle colour to their doors. This customisation can be delivered in a very short lead time, involving die casting, powder coating, and assembling the lock body to suit the desired door type.

Equipped with multipoint locking for greater door sealing performance, a UV-tested screen, and an IP55 rating, the Unity® Slim Smart Lock has been built to withstand New Zealand’s harshest weather.
Emergency power supply
Rest assured as both the Unity® Slim Smart Lock and the Yale Home App will alert you when the lock batteries are low and need to be replaced soon. If the batteries do run out, you can simply use a USB-C cable and a phone or power bank to power your lock temporarily.
