Terms and Conditions for Yale ByYou Digital Lock Series Buy & Win Lucky Draw Campaign

1. Eligibility:

  • The Buy and Win Lucky Draw Campaign ("Campaign") is open to all legal Malaysian residents aged 18 and above.
  • Employees of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia, its affiliates, and subsidiaries (collectively the “Employees”) are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.

2. Entry Period:

  • The Campaign begins on 12 August 2024 and ends on 15 September 2024 (“Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter:

  • Purchase our new ByYou digital lock during the Entry Period and retain the receipt/invoice.
  • Post a photo of your purchased ByYou digital lock to your Facebook and/or Instagram account. Tag us at the Yale Home Malaysia Instagram (@yalehomemalaysia) and/or Facebook page (Yale Home MYS). Ensure that your account is set public.
  • Fill up the form with your contact details and upload your invoice/ receipt.

4. Draw Mechanics:

  • Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
  • The draw will be conducted digitally on the 25 September 2024.
  • A total of five (5) prizes will be awarded in this Campaign

5. Prize:

  • The prize is the Yale Smart Safe. 
  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.
  • Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash or other items.
  • Prize will be delivered direct to the Winners within 30 days from the date of notification.

6. Winner Notification:

  • Winners will be notified via email or phone within 7 working days from the date of draw.
  • Failure to respond to the notification within the time frame may result in forfeiture of the prize.

7. Publicity:

  • By participating, participants agree to allow ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia to use your name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. General Conditions:

  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia retains the right to cancel or suspend the Campaign if any fraudulent activities, technical difficulties, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the company’s control compromise the integrity or proper operation of the Campaign, as solely determined by the company.
  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

9. Liability Limitations:

  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia is not responsible for any technical issues or human error that may occur in the processing of entries or the selection of winners.

10. Disputes:

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Campaign will be governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  • All decisions by ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia are final and binding.

11. Privacy:

  • Personal information collected from participants will be used by ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia for the purposes of administering the Campaign and as otherwise described in these Terms and Conditions.
  • ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia will not share personal information with third parties without the participant’s consent, except as necessary for the administration of the Draw or as required by law.

By participating in the Draw, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
