'Lock at a Time' is an extension of the Auto-Lock feature.
The feature is accessed in the Yale Home app via Lock Settings > Auto-Lock > Enable toggle > Auto-Lock When > At a Time.
When 'Lock at a Time' is selected, you can choose the days and times that your Linus L2 will automatically lock.
Note - although this feature functions when the Linus® Smart Lock L2 is offline, An internet connection via the built-in WiFi or an external WiFi Connect Bridge is required if you want to receive notifications when you are not in Bluetooth proximity of the lock.
'Unlock at a Time' is an extension of the Auto-Lock feature.
The feature is accessed in the Yale Home app via Lock Settings > Auto-Unlock > Auto-Unlock > At a Time.
When 'Unlock at a Time' is selected, you can choose the days and time that your Linus L2 will automatically Unlock.
Note - Unlocking is considered moving the dead bolt from a locked position to an unlocked position. This feature will not pull the latch.
'Unlock at a Time' requires the lock to be connected to the internet via WiFi.
A user cannot set an unlocking schedule if the lock is not connected to WiFi. The below pop up error will be shown in this case.
If a user disconnects their lock from WiFi, their unlock at a time schedule will also be deleted.

The Yale Smart keypad is required to be paired with the Linus® Smart Lock L2 in order to create and use personal entry codes.
Once you set up the Yale Smart Keypad, follow the steps below to find, update, and use your personal Entry Code.

Your personal entry code(s) appears below the associated lock if there are multiple locks. Depending on the settings on the lock, it may be blanked out as a security precaution. If this is the case you will need to authenticate with your phones passcode/biometics to view the code. If you want to update an existing personal entry code, follow the steps above, then:

To use your Personal Entry Code:
Entry codes need to be between 4 and 6 digits and a user may have up to 220 entry codes on a lock.
Guests with keypad access have a Yellow circle with a hash symbol to the right of their name in the Guest List. If you have assigned Entry Codes to other guests, they will follow the same steps to access and update their personal entry codes from within the Yale Access App.

This article provides steps to remove a lock from your account. PLEASE NOTE: Your status as either a lock Owner or a Guest, as well as your reason for removing the lock, determines the best method for removing the device from your account. Select either Lock Owner or Guest (depending on your access level) for instructions.
If you are the only lock Owner of a Yale Smart lock and you need to delete a lock because you no longer wish to have access to it, you need to factory reset the lock in order to remove it from your account. Follow the factory reset instructions to remove the lock from your account. Factory resetting the lock will also remove all other associated accounts from the lock.
If you are a lock Owner and you need to remove the lock to install it on another door, you will need to factory reset the lock unless the door is on the same house as it is currently. If you are installing the lock on the same house, you can remove the lock from its current door and reinstall it on the new door without factory resetting. For example, if you are installing a new Yale smart lock on your front door and you wish to relocate your existing Yale smart lock to your back door, you can rename it accordingly. In this case, you can rename the lock in your account as follows:
If you are a lock Owner and you have moved and you left the lock at your former residence, you will need to factory reset the lock in order to remove it from your account. If you experience issues removing yourself from the lock, contact Customer Support.
If you are a Guest on a lock and you want to remove the device from your account:
You will be prompted to verify that you would like to remove the user, in this case yourself, from the device.

Access levels and schedules determine how much access a lock user has as well as when they have permission to control the lock.
Yale offers 2 access levels: Owner and Guest. A lock Owner has full access to the lock and Guests have limited access (outlined under Access Levels). Only lock Owners can invite Guests to a lock. When inviting Guests, you can customize their access level and choose to be notified when they operate your lock.
There are also different Access Schedules: Always, Recurring, and Temporary (outlined under Access Schedules).

Guest is the default access level for anyone invited to your Yale Smart Lock, but you can update a person's access level when you invite them to your lock or at any time thereafter. Guest users:
*Cellular data or an Internet connection is required. Due to the 3 Guest Access Schedules, our servers need to verify that the guest is connecting during the time frame that they are authorised.

Always - Guests will have unlimited access, but the owner can change or delete their access at any time.
Recurring - Guests will have a scheduled access that repeats. i.e. guests will be invited every Tuesday for a short period of time.
Temporary - Guests will have a limited invitation to your home that expires. i.e. guests will have access for a one-time use, limited to the date and time you've selected.

The Keychain allows you to manage all of your properties or homes in the Yale Home App. If you have multiple properties, you can create keys for all of them in your keychain. Each property added to your keychain will extend the list of keys and you will need to scroll to access them.
You can add a new House to your Keychain when you set up a new smart lock at that house. Follow steps below:
Continue setting up the device by following the in-App instructions. The next time you open your Yale Home App, you should see the new house in the Keychain. You will also be able to add new devices to this House at set up for new devices going forward.
If you wish to remove a House from the Keychain in the Yale Home App, you can do so by factory resetting any locks associated with the house. A house disappears when an Owner factory resets all locks associated with the house. Follow instructions below to factory reset a lock.
1. On your phone, open the Yale Home App and go to the lock circle screen, which is the screen that shows you whether your door is locked or unlocked.
2. Select the Settings menu (gear icon).
3. Select the device you wish to reset.
4. Scroll to factory reset.
5. Select "Reset Lock".
If you are a guest, the house is removed from your Keychain when you are no longer a Guest of any of the locks associated with the house. Guests may remove themselves from the house via the App as well.

If you have an Apple Watch and a Yale Smart Home product used with WiFi and the Yale Home App, you can use your Apple Watch to lock and unlock. Open the Yale Home App on the device. Tap the green lock circle to unlock the door. Conversely, tap the red lock circle to lock it again.
PLEASE NOTE: The Yale Home Apple Watch App is available to Lock Owners only. Auto-Unlock does not work with Apple Watch. Remote operations are not possible.
In 'Privacy Mode', the door can only be unlocked manually from inside of the building or with a key from the outside. All digital remote lock functionality and logging will be disabled.

You can find your lock's serial number using the Yale Home App. Select the Gear Icon ⚙ in the lower right-hand corner of the lock circle screen.
Select Lock Settings, then Device Information to view the serial number for your lock.
Note: The serial number is also printed on the back of the physical lock itself starting with the prefix SN.
If your phone is lost or stolen, follow these steps to regain access to your home:
To log out of all devices / disable your phone’s access to your lock, you will need access to the Internet and the email account you use with your Yale Home account. You can access the Internet via a desktop computer or an alternative mobile device such as another phone or a tablet.
You are now logged out of your Yale account. PLEASE NOTE: Any third party apps such as Amazon, Google Assistant, etc. will continue working as expected.
To regain access to your home:
If you have a physical key, you can use that to get into your home.
If you have a Yale Smart Keypad you can use the keypad instead of the Yale Home App.
Another Owner of the Yale Smart Lock can open your door remotely if you have a Yale Connect WiFi bridge installed.
If none of the options mentioned before works you will need to gain access to your Smart lock using another smartphone.
You can now operate your lock using this phone. Once you have a permanent replacement phone, there is no need to set up your Yale devices again. All that is required is to download the Yale Home App on the replacement phone and sign in / validate your phone number or email address. All of your Yale Home devices will remain set up in your account.
Both iOS and Android provide tools to help locate your phone and in some cases disable it (depending on the security features you’ve enabled.)
Visit www.icloud.com, log in to your iCloud account, and select the “Find my iPhone” feature.
Visit www.google.com/android/devicemanager and log into your Google Account.
If your phone cannot be located, you need to contact your cellular service carrier. If your phone cannot be retrieved your carrier can help you get a replacement phone and regain access to your phone number.
