We’re pleased to announce our latest update: the flagship Linus® Smart Lock L2 is now Matter-compatible! 

You might be wondering, what is Matter? Matter enables different devices and ecosystems to work together seamlessly, without you having to worry about compatibility. Matter theoretically lets you buy any device and use the voice assistant or platform you prefer to control it. To make smart homes truly smart.

Matter allows you to easily and securely connect more devices to your smart home system than ever before, and Linus® L2 is no exception. Linus® L2 already works with most major smart home systems, but Matter is the next step of the continuous process to allow for seamless integration with all smart home systems and voice assistants, offering you a unified smart home experience without the need for additional accessories.

You’ll no longer have to choose your preferred platform. Our Yale Linus®  L2 with Matter support, will work across all major smart home ecosystems, such as Apple Home.

Matter-compliant products mean there’s no more confusion over what devices will work within your smart home. Giving you more choice and flexibility. You simply need to look for the Matter symbol on devices to know that the products will reliably work together.

Set-up is super easy. Matter devices, like our Linus® L2, use similar connection steps, allowing for simple installation.
