With a range of features such as Cloud Recording and AI Motion Detection for our Smart Cameras and Video Doorbell, as well as Cellular Backup and Automated Call Alerts, our Yale Home app Subscription Service will take your security to the next level.

Camera Plan

The Camera Plan includes Cloud Recording, securely saving recorded videos on a remote cloud server for a period of 30 days. Additionally, it offers Advanced AI Motion Detection, capable of instantly distinguishing between human, pet, and vehicle movement, and even notifying you when a package is delivered*. 

Conveniently control and monitor your cameras from wherever you are, all through the Yale Home app.

*The exact functionality may vary depending on the camera model.

Alarm Plan

The Alarm Plan includes 4G LTE Cellular Backup, guaranteeing fast, stable, and uninterrupted alarm service, even if your Wi-Fi connection goes down.

Additionally, you can conveniently control and monitor your Smart Alarm using the Yale Home app from anywhere in the world with your smartphone.

Secure Plan

This plan offers an Automated Call Alert feature, allowing you to designate up to three people to receive an automated phone call in the event of an alarm activation.

Additionally, it includes 4G LTE Cellular Backup to ensure you receive fast, stable, and uninterrupted alarm service, even if your Wi-Fi goes down. You'll also benefit from Cloud Recording, which safely stores the video captured on all your cameras on a remote Cloud Server for 30 days. Finally, the plan features Advanced AI Motion Detection and more.

    Keep an eye on the inside of your home with the Smart Indoor Camera

    The Yale Smart Indoor Camera lets you keep an eye on the inside of your home while you’re away. Ideal for pet owners, parents who want to keep an eye on their kids, or anyone who wants to check in on elderly parents, the Smart Indoor Camera provides crisp 1080p Full HD image, live view, motion-triggered recordings, night vision, detailed notifications, a two-way audio talk feature, and integration with leading voice assistants.

    Privacy mode will turn your camera off when you arrive home for added convenience.* Built-in AI technology allows you to enable human detection, reducing the level of false alarm notifications sent to you. With customisable detection zone & scheduling you can define specific areas you want your camera to cover, and use motion scheduling to exclude notification triggers from regular occurrences. Other AI features, as well as Cloud Recording options, are available through a subscription plan.

    The Yale Smart Outdoor Camera is easy to use with hassle-free installation. This smart outdoor security camera will deter any potential burglars, offering you a crisp 1080p Full HD image, 154° field of view, motion-triggered recordings, a two-way audio talk feature, enhanced colour night vision, and a spotlight that can be triggered when motion is detected. 

    You can also see what's happening at home from anywhere in the world in the Yale Home app, with the option to record videos or capture images to review and save at any time locally or in the cloud. With customisable detection zones & scheduling, you can define specific areas you want your camera to cover and use motion scheduling to exclude notification triggers from regular occurrences such as your car pulling into your driveway in the evening after work. 

    Other smart Al features, including vehicle, pet and package detection, as well as Cloud Recording options, are also available through a subscription plan. You can choose between rechargeable batteries or a mains-wired powered source, to ensure that your camera is always connected. A variety of accessories can also be added, including a solar panel charger and an optional USB cable, to provide a wide variety of power options. The Smart Outdoor Camera can also be used indoors, to suit any security needs.

The Smart Video Doorbell offers you a crisp 1080p Full HD image, a 154° field of view, two-way audio talk, live viewing, and night vision for clear footage that can be viewed 24/7 in the Yale Home app. The Yale Doorbell is easy to set up and use and powered by a built-in rechargeable or wired-powered solution. 

    Receive detailed notifications in real-time whenever motion is detected, and a “call” once visitors press the doorbell, to never miss a delivery or guest again. As part of the Yale Smart Security Ecosystem, when the Smart Doorbell is rung, you can check who is at your door using the Yale Home app and if safe, can unlock your door using your Yale Smart Lock to let them in. 

    The Smart Video Doorbell also offers additional monitoring features such as human detection Al, and customisable privacy zones & scheduling. Other Al features, such as vehicle, pet and package detection and Cloud Recording, are available through a subscription plan for additional coverage and peace of mind. 

    Accessories such as the Smart Video Doorbell Chime, which ensures the doorbell can be heard anywhere within your home and allows you to choose from 7 distinct and captivating Yale sounds, and the power adapter, a user-friendly solution that ensures your smart doorbell is powered at all times, can be added for additional support.

  • Smart Alarm

    The Yale Smart Alarm is simple to set up and use, with hassle-free installation. The Yale Alarm is designed to protect properties of any size, both inside and out, by preventing any potential threats before they even occur. With the Yale Home app, you can control and monitor 4 areas of your home independently, and multiple properties with no need to switch accounts to make multi-home security simpler.  Tailor your home security alarm system to your unique needs.  Benefit from a protection range spanning 1km, thanks to Yale Horizon+ Technology. Perimeter security can be further bolstered by utilizing a combination of  the alarm system accessories like Indoor and Outdoor motion detectors and Yale Smart Cameras for enhanced outdoor surveillance.

    The Smart Alarm works seamlessly with our other Yale smart products, leading voice assistants and Philips Hue smart Lighting for a complete Smart Security System experience. The subscription plan offers cellular communication, available as a backup or primary communication to connect your system even if your internet is down, as well as Automated Call Alert, where up to three people can receive a phone call in the event of an alarm activation.

Service

  • If you already have a compatible smart security product installed and operational, the Subscription Service offers enhanced functionalities through various packages. If you decide to end your subscription, the system will revert to the original free-tier service.

  • Yes, our smart security devices are fully DIY and you can install and maintain your own security system. 

  • Our Smart Alarm Hub is designed to provide you with uninterrupted service even during power outages, thanks to its backup batteries. Moreover, in case of an internet disruption, if you're part of our Subscription Service, the hub seamlessly switches to its built-in 4G connection to keep you connected.

    However, please note that our Smart Indoor and Outdoor Cameras, as well as the Smart Video Doorbell, do not have backup internet capabilities. Consequently, they won't be able to maintain their connection to the outside world in such situations.

  • If you need to replace your smart security devices, you will need to cancel your current subscription and then resubscribe. The Subscription Service is associated with the physical smart security devices in use.

  • As you install more smart security devices, you can add them to your Yale Home app Subscription Service.

  • You will need to uninstall your smart security devices and unsubscribe from all services. Once you have moved, create a new house in the Yale Home app and reinstall your smart security devices again in the new house. You can then set up new subscription. Please note that all recordings and records associated with the old subscription will be deleted.

  • Only Secure Plan will trigger calls to your phone. Otherwise, you will receive Yale Home app push notification and email notifications when the alarm is triggered.

Contractual and Billing

  • Our Subscription Service is billed on a monthly basis and can be cancelled anytime. If you choose to cancel, the service will remain active for the current month and terminate at the end of that month. Please note that any recordings associated with the system will be deleted upon service cancellation.

  • If your payment was declined, please reach out to our customer service for assistance.

  • Of course, you can change the payment method within the Yale Home app at any time.

  • A rejected payment will lead to the termination of your subscription plan. Recordings and services will be deleted at the end of the monthly/annual cycle. 

  • You can change the billing information in the Yale Home app.

  • No, unfortunately, all payments must be made through the Yale Home app.

  • If you encounter any difficulties with making a payment, please reach out to our customer service for assistance.

  • Your recordings will be deleted and service terminated.

  • When a subscription plan is cancelled, no further payments will be processed, and the service will terminate at the end of the monthly/annual cycle.

  • The billing name and billing email address match the Yale Home app account. You can modify this information in the app's User settings by selecting the "Name" and "Update Email" options.
