The Linus^® Smart Lock wins the world-renowned iF Design Awards!

Organized each year by the world’s oldest independent design organization in Hannover, the iF Design Awards have been regarded as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design for the past 67 years. This year, the combination of sleek, innovative and functional design, and the most state-of-the-art-technology of the Linus^® Smart Lock, were recognized in the Building Technology product design category.

The design qualities of our Linus^® Smart Lock were judged by a group of 98 independent design experts from around the world and compared against almost 10,000 entries, submitted from 52 countries. All competing for the highly sought after seal of quality.

Rated out of 100, the Linus^® Smart Lock scored an impressive 82 points in the Form criterion and 78 points in theImpact, and Function criteria alike, highlighting its excellent design, functionality and everyday benefits it brings to users.

The Linus^® Smart Lock is our answer to the growing demand for highly aesthetic smart home  solutions. Linus^® offers a sleek, practical design and brings our consumers flexibility and convenience in their time pressured lives.

To achieve this seamless look, famous Swiss product designer, Yves Behar used softer surface transitions, rounded edges and a textured finish on the lock for a sense of refinement that invites tactility.

Having designed for the likes of Apple or HP, it was Yves’s intention to create a smart lock inspired by the very people that will be using it every day and exceed their expectations by creating a product featuring minimalistic, practical design, that will give them a real feel of the smart homes of tomorrow.
