Yale Connect Bridge supports wireless connectivity and smart home integration for a single Yale smart home device, whereas the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 supports up to 16 Bluetooth (BLE), 30 Zigbee* Yale smart home devices and has better range performance.
*For the Zigbee wireless protocol, the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 currently only supports the Yale Aeron Window Actuator and Remotes.

If you have more than 10 devices linked to the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2, you may see a slight impact to response time.
Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 can connect to 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz only) Wi-Fi networks. Please make sure your Wi-Fi router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network.
In the event of an internet outage, you will only be able to access your devices over Bluetooth within range. Remote access will not be available. Once internet is available again, the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 will automatically reconnect to the internet.
The Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 does not come with a backup power source. In the event of a power outage, you will only be able to access your devices over Bluetooth when within range. Remote access will not be available.
Provided you are connected to the internet, you can control your devices from anywhere using your smartphone, without needing to be connected to the Wi-Fi network linked to the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2.
You may need to update your Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 to the latest firmware version to enable Bluetooth connectivity to your other Yale Smart Devices. To do so, you can follow the steps below.

You will still be able to change your Hub’s settings within Bluetooth range, using the Yale Home App. Follow the steps below. Please ensure your new Wi-Fi router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network.
Nothing will happen for short press (less than 5s) however a long press (more than 5s) will disconnect your Hub with your Wi-Fi router. To fix this, you can reconnect the Hub with your router by opening your Yale Home App and go to “Hub’s Settings” -> ”Network Settings” in the Utilities section -> ”Wi-Fi Network”, then following the in-App instructions.
Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network*. Both your phone and the hub should be connected to the same network during setup.
Scan the QR code located on the underside of the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 and follow the setup guide within the Yale Home App. At the end of the setup, you will be prompted to link any additional smart home devices, if available.
*You won’t be able to make the connection if your phone is on a 5GHz network, but you can reconnect your phone to the 5GHz network once the Hub has been setup. The “signal appears to be weak” doesn’t affect the hub’s bridge’s performance, continue past this point until the setup is complete.
First, ensure your Yale Smart Device has been paired with your Yale Home App on your smartphone.
To perform a factory reset on your unit, go to Yale Home App “Hub Settings” -> ”Network Settings” in the Utilities section -> “Factory Reset”. You will then see the 3 LEDs on the Yale Connect Plus Hub 2 blink consecutively, indicating the device is performing a factory reset. A few seconds later, you will see the middle LED flash slowly meaning the factory reset is complete.
When there is a new firmware update, you will be prompted when you open your Yale Home App.
