FAQs

    • This integration allows you to control your Yale Linus® Smart Lock from the hSL application.
    • You can lock, unlock, and check the status of the door and lock. 
    • Know who operated the lock and at what time (lock history).
    • Create PIN codes for Yale Smart Keypad so you or your guests can operate the lock from outside.
    • HSL panel or hSL application
    • Yale Home credentials
    • Yale Linus® Smart Lock and Connect Wi-Fi Bridge
  • Linus® Smart Lock L1

    • Open the hSL application on your smartphone
    • Login with hSL credentials
    • Select Yale lock from the list of devices
    • Click on OPEN, this will take you to Yale Home authentication page
    • Enter Yale Home login credentials
    • Verify the authentication using OTP received on your registered mobile number
    • Now you will be able to see your lock name in hSL app
    • Click Apply Auth to complete the Authentication
    • Choose from the following operations:
      o  Lock 
      o  Unlock
      o  Get PIN (Creating codes for Keypad access)
  • The owner of the lock is the primary user of this integration.

  • Yes. You will have the ability to control this integration remotely.

  • This is a standalone integration between hSL (DOTS®) and Yale. Smart Home Assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Home can be connected and operated separately.
